I bring experience as a performer in original and cover bands for many years. I've been through the process that many aspiring musicians look for: writing his own songs, working out arrangements with the band, headlining clubs, recording in major studios and meeting with A&R people from record labels. I've performed in over 130 shows in the past year as lead singer and keyboardist for one of the busiest Rock & Roll cover bands in the state. My influences range from Jazz to Soul to Rock. Utilize my expertise and experience to get the most out of your child's abilities through individual lessons.
Piano Lessons: Practicing your instrument shouldn't feel like a chore. I will give you all the tools to lose yourself for hours behind the keyboard as you perfect your skills. You'll play songs that you are interested in and will learn to understand how chords work together to create your own music. Whether a beginner or an experienced pianist, I will work with you to improve your technique and play any style of music. As you build your skills on the piano, you will also discover how to play string, organ and brass parts on electronic keyboards. The more you practice the quicker you'll have an orchestra at your fingertips!
Voice Lessons: We will focus on the essentials like proper breathing techniques, ear training, sight reading and microphone technique. We will also use scales to increase your vocal flexibility and range. During your lessons you will be using a sound system that will make you feel like you are in a large concert hall to help you build all the confidence a singer needs. We will discuss the qualities you like about your favorite singers and incorporate them into your own singing style. If you like to sing and also play an instrument we will work on building the coordination that you'll need to succeed.
Guitar Lessons: Whether interested in acoustic or electric guitar, I will show you how to play chords, read tabs and play all of the songs you love. We will study scales and the basic music theory you will need to know to write your own songs. Be a real guitar hero! Music is important to everyone.
